AdBlue, often referred to by drivers as “urea water,” is a trademark registered by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). This product is a 32.5% urea compound used as a catalyst in Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems installed in vehicles to reduce nitrogen oxides emissions from diesel engines. AdBlue is a highly pure urea solution, free from impurities and heavy metals. It is non-toxic, non-flammable, and environmentally friendly. AdBlue is not classified as a hazardous chemical and can be transported freely. It is not a fuel or fuel additive. Due to its metal-corrosive nature, AdBlue solution needs to be stored in a dedicated tank designed on the vehicle. Filling AdBlue is similar to refueling diesel/petrol. If AdBlue comes into contact with skin, simply rinse with water. AdBlue® is also known as Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF).
AdBlue®, the diesel engine exhaust treatment fluid under the BlueOne® brand, is designed for use with Euro 4, 5, and 6 standard diesel engines equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) catalyst systems.
BlueOne performs quality control of AdBlue® solution according to ISO 22241 standards and has been certified by the German automotive industry association VDA (Verband der Automobilindustrie) since 2022. We have boldly invested in a modern lab (with ISO 17025 certification) to ensure that customers are always 100% assured of receiving high-quality products that comply with the requirements set by vehicle manufacturers and global norms.
