Guide on how to use the cleaning and regeneration solution for DPF

Comprehensive instructions on how to use BlueOne® DPF cleaning and regeneration solution to keep your vehicle running smoothly and fuel-efficiently.

What is DPF cleaning and regeneration solution?

The concept of DPF cleaning and regeneration solution

DPF cleaning and regeneration solution is an effective product for cleaning and regenerating DPF exhaust filters without the need to remove individual components.

During operation, the DPF system burns Carbon particulates in the exhaust, producing soot that accumulates over time, clogging the DPF unit. This phenomenon leads to decreased engine performance and increased fuel consumption.

The DPF cleaning and regeneration solution contains special components capable of dissolving accumulated deposits within the DPF, effectively cleaning the filter unit.

The cleaning process using DPF cleaning and regeneration solution does not require individual component removal, saving maximum time and effort.

After using the DPF cleaning and regeneration solution, the engine will operate more smoothly, saving fuel and reducing harmful emissions into the environment.

This is synonymous with extending the lifespan and durability of the DPF system, minimizing maintenance and repair costs.

The BlueOne® DPF cleaning and regeneration solution kit

The BlueOne DPF Cleaner and BlueOne DPF Activator solution form a perfect duo, facilitating the cleaning and regeneration of DPF exhaust filters without the need for individual component removal.

This product is applied to the DPF filtration system through a pneumatic spray gun, suitable for all types of petrol and diesel engines complying with Euro 4, 5, 6 emission standards equipped with DPF.

BlueOne DPF Cleaner and BlueOne DPF Activator have notable features such as:

Ensuring safety and effectiveness for the DPF system, the standout feature of the product is its solvent-free, non-corrosive, and non-flammable nature, ensuring safety throughout usage.

Moreover, this DPF cleaning solution is also environmentally friendly, highly regarded by experts for its ability to reduce harmful emissions into the environment.

The components of BlueOne DPF Cleaner and BlueOne DPF Activator are designed to be compatible and safe with the materials of the DPF exhaust filter, effectively cleaning the filter and protecting the DPF system from negative impacts of accumulated particulates.

Signs indicating a clogged DPF and the need for cleaning and regeneration

Signs indicating a clogged DPF

Engine performance deteriorates

One notable sign of a clogged DPF is the engine operating less smoothly than usual. The vehicle may experience symptoms such as lagging, power loss, or reduced responsiveness when accelerating.

The DPF warning light is illuminated

The vehicle’s engine control system will activate the warning light upon detecting a clogged DPF or malfunction. This warning light is typically represented by the DPF symbol on the dashboard.

The smell of black smoke and strong exhaust odor

If the DPF is clogged, the smell of black smoke will increase, and the exhaust emitted from the vehicle’s tailpipe will have a strong, unpleasant odor, causing discomfort and environmental pollution.

Tăng tiêu hao nhiên liệu

When the DPF is not functioning efficiently, the engine will consume more fuel to meet emission requirements, resulting in increased fuel costs.

Prepare the tools

One set of BlueOne® DPF solution includes BlueOne DPF Cleaner and BlueOne DPF Activator.

One pneumatic spray gun.

Proceed with cleaning and regeneration.

Stage one: Use the BlueOne DPF Cleaner solution.

Step 1: Run the engine at idle for 15 minutes to warm up the engine, then turn off the engine.

Step 2: You need to identify the location of the DPF inlet pressure sensor.

Step 3: Remove the DPF pressure sensor, then connect the DPF to the pneumatic spray gun.

Step 4: Pour BlueOne DPF Cleaner into the container still connected to the pneumatic supply line.”Step 4: Pour BlueOne DPF Cleaner into the container still connected to the pneumatic supply line.

Step 5: Turn on the pressure control valve and adjust the pressure to 5 bar.

Step 6: Open the drain valve for 10 to 15 seconds to allow the solution to flow into the DPF system.

Keep repeating these steps until the solution in the container runs out. Leave about 2 minutes between each cycle.

Step 7: Restart the engine and maintain idle speed for about 15 minutes. At this point, some of the residue will be flushed out with the solution.

Stage two: Use BlueOne DPF Activator solution.

Step 1: Continue running the engine at idle speed of 2000 RPM and pour BlueOne DPF Activator solution into the container.

Step 2: Keep the connection between the air compressor and the container, open the air valve, and adjust the pressure to 5 bar.

Step 3: Open the drain valve to let the BlueOne DPF Activator solution flow into the DPF while maintaining the engine speed at 2000 RPM.

Step 4: Monitor the pressure to check operating conditions, maintaining the engine at idle speed of 2000 RPM.
Meanwhile, bubbles will push the dissolved Carbon deposits and soot out of the DPF through the exhaust pipe.

Step 5: Continue to maintain the engine speed at 2000 RPM. Then, add an additional 6 – 8 liters of clean water into the DPF through the pneumatic spray gun. Keep the engine speed at 2000 RPM for another 15 minutes.

Step 6: Dry the DPF pressure sensor tube that was removed before reinstalling to prevent sensor damage or error occurrence.

Step 7: Drive for 15 – 20 minutes while maintaining engine speed at around 2500 RPM, approximately 60 – 80 km/h, to regenerate the DPF system after cleaning.

That completes the DPF cleaning and regeneration process.

I hope that with the detailed instructions provided in the article, you will be able to effectively clean and regenerate your DPF system.
